What are your pronouns? She, Her
Who inspires you? Beautiful strong women!
Tell us something about you that no one would know: I’m fairly open about myself, ask me a question and I will answer it truthfully. I hate housework, never ending dust!
Where are your favourite places in the world? Montmartre, Paris, France; Vietnam.
Tell us how you first got involved in with DoBM? I missed being a member of DoBV, so after a year or so, I decided to get involved again. I joined the original DoBV in 1994 and was their No.1 member when it ended.
What is so empowering about riding a motorcycle? And How does riding transform other areas of your life? I first started riding 35 years ago and I loved the anonymity it afforded me when I was on my motorcycle. Not many women riding back then. I was neither male nor female, just someone on a bike. Riding a motorcycle has become part of me and I can’t see myself not riding going into my future.
Which pride parade would you love to ride in? I would love to ride in the San Francisco parade and a lot of the others around the world.
What are you passionate about? My motorcycle, people, women and food.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? For everyone in the world to be more loving and accepting of their children regardless of how they identify.
What is your dream bike? Make/Model/Year and why: My dream bike was a top of the line BMW. I put this in past tense because I have owned two of them in the past. Now I happily ride my Yammy, it has never let me down.
What do you wish other people knew about DOBM? What a fantastic and funtastic group it is. I enjoy our rides to country towns to introduce ourselves to other likeminded people and to encourage others to join our group, because we are a wonderful group of women. I also enjoy all the Pride marches we attend and participate in, I think I have ridden in Mardi Gras, Sydney perhaps 10 to 12 times, the first ones was in 1996.
